Current Gout Study 1

 

If you are between the ages of 18 and 85 and have had repeated gout attacks in the past year you may qualify to participate


This study is to help determine the effectiveness and side effects of an approved medication to lower uric acid in patients with gout. The study is open-label which means you will know exactly what medication and in what dose. The medication is a daily oral medication known as allopurinol. The study will last up to 6 months. There are a total of 9 possible visits
