Current Gout Study 2Do you suffer from gout attacks?
If you have gout, you may be eligible to participate in a research study being conducted by local doctors to evaluate an investigational medication for the treatment of gout flares. A six-month study to assess the prevention of gout flares when starting allopurinol or other urate lowering therapy. You may be eligible to participate if you are: Over the age of 18 and are willing to start daily medication to prevent flares. No medical insurance is required. Qualified participants will receive study related medical evaluations and study medications at no cost. Compensation for time and travel is also available for qualified participants.
