New Mexico Clinical Research & Osteoporosis Center, Inc. is strongly committed to clinical research. We have 33 years of experience with a proven track record of excellence in our field. Our completed clinical trial experience includes a diverse number of indications which include atopic dermatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, chronic low back pain, dyspepsia, fibromyalgia, GERD, gout, heartburn, hypertension, hypogonadism, irritable bowel syndrome, lipid disorders, migraine headache, nocturia, overactive bladder, obesity, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, osteogenesis imperfecta, peptic ulcer disease, Sarcopenia, Type I & II diabetes, and women’s studies.

Our full-service facility, which is adjacent to two major hospitals, has certified study coordinators who are ACRP, IATA, GCP and EDC certified. Additionally, we have two designated monitoring stations, a large patient database, a DXA machine, and extensive support services.

Lance Rudolph, MD is a board-certified internist with special interests in bone structure, bone metabolism and osteoporosis in persons with disabilities. He is the director of research and has been conducting clinical trials since 1988. The principal investigator on a wide variety clinical trials and the Sub-Investigator for all the osteoporosis trials.

E. Michael Lewiecki, MD is a board-certified internist, consultant in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease and interpreter of bone density. He is the osteoporosis director and the principal investigator for osteoporosis trials and the author of many peer-reviewed scientific publications on osteoporosis and bone densitometry.

Our physicians and technologists are certified in bone densitometry by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). Both physicians are Clinical Assistant Professors of Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Lewiecki is ISCD President and a faculty member for the ISCD certification course.
Our site is conveniently located, with a direct 5-minute drive from the Albuquerque International Airport, and many nearby hotels and restaurants. We have a large and comfortable space for study monitors to work.
